Updated over 2 weeks ago

Photonesto is a platform for photographers that allows for quick and easy photo sharing with clients. Now imagine that this same tool becomes perfectly tailored to your studio and brand. This is exactly what personalizing your Photonesto account is all about! It is the key to making your space not only functional but also fully professional and recognizable.

You can customize elements such as the browser tab icon or your watermark. Additionally, in the photographer panel, you can specify links to your social media accounts and provide your contact number. This allows clients viewing the photos to get in touch with you at any time.

Logging into the photographer panel in Photonesto

The first step to personalizing your account is logging into the photographer panel. Logging in is done by providing your e-mail address and the password for your Photonesto account on the login page.

If you do not have an account yet, you can create one here.

Going to settings

While logged into the photographer panel in the Photo Galleries section, click the person icon located in the upper right corner, and then select the "Photographer account" option:

Next, head to the Personalization option by clicking the "Proceed" button:

We have reached our destination! Here are all the personalization options for your Photonesto account:

Setting the browser tab icon

You can change the browser tab icon (favicon) for your Photonesto account.

Just click the "Select another icon" button and choose the appropriate file from your computer.

Browser tab icons (favicons) should be square and ideally no larger than 64px by 64px.

Additional photo protection

In Photonesto, you can protect your photos with more than just a watermark - take a look at our advanced options:

We offer several security methods:

Display photos in Canvas element

Photos are rendered in a canvas element, which prevents them from being easily saved or copied from the browser. This significantly hinders unauthorized downloading of images.

Screenshot attempt notification

The system detects attempts to take screenshots using a computer keyboard, immediately blurs the image, and notifies the user. This is only partial protection — it does not work on mobile devices and does not detect all copying methods.

Image blur on focus loss

When a user switches to another application or tries to use the system while leaving the image in the background, the image automatically blurs. Sharpness returns when the image view is reactivated.

Copyright Protection Notice

Images display an additional message with the photographer's details and the viewer's IP address, shown alongside the watermark. This serves as a visible reminder of copyright protection and responsible use of content.

Photo Preview Preferences

In this setting, you can specify the maximum width of the photo that is displayed in the preview.

Watermark configuration

In this section, you can manage the watermark that will appear on your photos.

You can use the predefined watermarks we suggest – just click on a specific mark and you will immediately see it in the preview on a sample photo.

You can also add your own watermark – by clicking the "Add new watermark" button and uploading a file from your computer. After selecting the file, a window will pop up where you can set the opacity of your new watermark.

The watermark should be text or a graphic – without a background, preferably in a solid color. The file must be in png or svg format with a resolution no larger than 600 x 600 pixels.

Defining contact details and social media

Photonesto allows you to provide your contact details, so that clients can more easily contact you or follow you on social media while viewing the photo gallery.

The Contact information section contains a list of fields that, once filled in, will be displayed in the photo gallery.

In the "Your signature" field, enter your brand name. Fill in the remaining fields, such as contact number or website address, with the appropriate values.

Remember to click the "Save" button after you finish filling out this section.

Presentation of changes

After completing the steps above, you should verify the changes. Go to the login screen of any gallery you have published.

On the gallery login page, changes such as the browser tab icon should be visible.

Due to the different ways web browsers operate, it sometimes happens that changes may only be visible after a few hours. In such cases, it is worth clearing your browser cache.

After logging into the gallery with a password, a section containing the contact details you entered should appear below the cover.

After clicking the home button (on the left), the website provided by you in the "Link to the website" field will open. The mechanism works similarly for the other buttons in the section – Facebook and Instagram pages.

Summary

Personalizing your Photonesto account is an essential step toward building a professional brand. By promoting your logo, contact details, and social media accounts, you strengthen your company's image and provide clients with full brand consistency at every stage – from the first visit to the login page to browsing the finished gallery.
