Looking for help with more efficient order fulfillment in Photonesto? Your wish is our command! We present the "export to script" functionality for bulk and individual orders.
How does it work?
You download the script to your drive - to the folder where the photos from this specific gallery are located (they can be RAWs only!), then you run it in that location - and you get ready, selected files for editing!
The script is prepared separately for Windows and macOS users, so no matter which system you use - it is for you.
You also have two options to choose from - the classic version or with separate directories:
in the basic option, the script creates one folder where it will copy all the photos that clients selected
in the second variant (separate directories), the script creates separate folders for each order, and within them separate subfolders for each product (e.g., digital file or print)
Below we present detailed instructions for each of the systems:
Export to Windows
Step 1
Download the script.
Step 2
Place the script in the folder where the photos from your session are located.
Step 3
Run the script by double-clicking on the downloaded file in the folder with photos.
In case of problems
Your operating system may display a warning that the file downloaded from the internet is unsafe and that its execution has been blocked. In this case, click “More info” and then the “Run anyway” button.
Step 4
A new folder will be created in the folder with photos containing all the found photos.
Export to Mac
Step 1
Download the script.
Step 2
Place the script in the folder where all the photos from the session are.
Step 3
Open Terminal in the folder where the photos and the copied script are located. To do this, find the folder in the “Finder” app, right-click on the folder name, and select the option “New Terminal at Folder”
Step 4
Copy the command displayed in the message and paste it into Terminal, then confirm by pressing the Enter key:
Step 5
A new folder will be created in the folder with photos containing all the found photos.
We sincerely hope this will greatly streamline the order fulfillment process! If you have any questions, feel free to write or call, we will clear up your doubts and solve problems :)
