Music in Photonesto galleries – take care of your clients' emotions

Discover the magic of music in Photonesto galleries! Learn how to create a playlist and add it to a session in just a few steps. Take care of the atmosphere and delight your clients with a professional online photo presentation.

Photonesto is a modern platform for photographers that allows you to create exceptionally aesthetic and professional online galleries for delivering photos to clients. However, so that a gallery is not just a collection of images, but a real experience, it is worth taking care of its soundtrack. The functionality of music in galleries is a tool that allows you to take your presentation to a completely new level.

Why is it worth adding music to a gallery?

Image and sound are a combination that impacts human emotions most strongly. Adding a carefully selected soundtrack to a session has many advantages:

  • Builds the atmosphere: a joyful children's session needs different music than a touching wedding reportage. Thanks to music, you set the tone in which the client perceives your work.

  • Keeps them longer: a gallery with a pleasant background track becomes a kind of slideshow for the client, making them want to stay longer.

  • Emphasizes professionalism: attention to such details as a sound background proves that you care about every aspect of customer service and want to provide them with a product of the highest quality.

Step by step: how to enable music in a gallery?

Configuring music in Photonesto is intuitive and is divided into two stages: preparing a playlist and assigning it to a specific gallery. Here is how to do it:

Step 1: Creating a playlist

Log in to the Photonesto panel and click on the main menu icon (upper right corner). From the dropdown menu, select the "Multimedia" tab.

Next, click the "+ Add new playlist" button.

In the pop-up window, enter the name of your playlist (e.g., „Christmas Playlist”) and click "Save".

Now it's time for music! Below you will find a library of available tracks. You can filter them by mood (e.g. Calm, Happy, Family).

Click "Add to playlist" next to selected tracks. You can change their order using the arrows next to the title or listen to them before adding.

We have a ready playlist! Now it needs to be added to the selected gallery (or several).

Step 2: Activating music in the selected gallery

Return to the view of your galleries and enter the one in which you want to enable music.

From the menu on the left, select the "Settings" tab. Find the Music section and move the slider to the „enabled” position (it should turn green).

From the dropdown list "Selected playlist name" select the previously prepared track list - "Christmas Playlist".

Confirm the changes by clicking the "Save" button at the bottom of the section. A green message saying „Playlist settings have been changed” will confirm the success!

Here you can also set automatic music playback in the gallery - just move the slider to the right until it becomes green.

And you're done! Now you can log in to your gallery and listen to the music you added!

From the client's perspective, you can stop or restart the music, and change the volume - in the lower left corner of the screen.
