However, it may happen that when sharing the reportage with wedding guests, your clients - for various reasons - decide to keep certain shots only for themselves. How to hide photos in Photonesto? It's very simple!
In this guide, we will discuss how the photo hiding feature works in photo galleries – using a wedding reportage as an example. See how to ensure greater privacy for your clients and increase their satisfaction with your photography service!
Photo hiding functionality and the second password
The photo hiding feature in Photonesto is based on the two access passwords option for the gallery, one of which has the ability to hide photos - users accessing the gallery using the second password will not see the hidden photos.
Therefore, you should start by creating a second access password - go to the gallery, then click the three-dot button under the cover, and from the list that appears, select the "Change password" option:
A window appeared where we need to do two things: add a second password and enable the photo hiding option.
Step by step – first, you should create a second password – click the "+ Add password" button and enter its content:
To save this password, click anywhere on the white field.
Next, you must enable the photo hiding function for the created password – simply click the slider – once it turns green, it means the function has been activated.
Hiding photos
Everything is ready; now the client can proceed to hide the photos!
Copy the new password and give it to the client, explaining that if they log into the gallery with it, they will be able to mark the photos they want to hide. After logging into the gallery with this password, they just need to open a photo in the preview - they will likely immediately notice a new icon, an "eye", which allows them to hide photos.
They should mark all photos that are not to be visible to others.
Logging in with the old password – a visible difference
Now, to ensure that the marked photos are invisible, log in to the gallery using the first password. You can easily notice that some of the photos have been hidden.
This simple functionality is another way to ensure your clients the highest level of privacy and satisfaction. Thanks to a dedicated password and quick photo hiding, you give clients full control over what is visible publicly. This minimizes risk and builds trust in your professional services.
